2020 International Women’s Day: Each for Equal
Our 2020 celebration of International Women's Day was not only educational but it was also a powerful example of women working together to make our community better. We were inspired by the stories shared by our guest speaker Lucy Marsh Professor at University of Denver Sturm College of Law and by our 2020 Honorees KC Becker and Carmen Ramirez. Our panelists, moderated by the YWCA Boulder County CEO Debby Pope, shared insightful experiences of pay equity in the work place. Ali Beatty, Michelle Frierson, Kathy Olivier and Lupita Sanchez shared their challenges and their tactics for addressing the issue of salary inequality in Boulder County. Thank you to our member organizations and every who made this event possible.
